These are from last week, when we were at Darling Harbour. The weather was soo good that day, and to top it all off, there were randomly 9pm fireworks! Well maybe it's not that random..there probably was a reason for it, we just don't know it. Anyway, they were really pretty, and it was the closest we've ever been to fireworks. Best view ever.

Big Breakfast

Lambs Fry and Bacon $18; Pan fried lambs liver with bacon, onion and capsicum in a cream veal jus served with sourdough toast

The lamb was tender and packed with flavour however, there was just too much of it which made it sickening after a while, the buttery bread did not help, perhaps a refreshing salad would of been better. It’s just my personal preference but i prefer roast lamb with a more saltier dry taste rather than boiled and a little oily.

Eggs on Sourdough $12; choice of fried, poached or scrambled eggs with grilled tomatoes and a hash brown served on buttered sourdough toast

I will just say one thing, the eggs were just DIVINE.

Mmmm looking at this is making me drool, but i'm so hungry right now haha. And yes the eggs were sooo good, like melt in your mouth good. In fact, everything on this plate was good..well except maybe the bread, it was just a bit too hard.

Hmm they must have taken this off the menu because it is nowhere to be found. Not really sure why as it was quite nice. The strawberries were nice and sweet and the honey drizzled on top added an extra touch that completed the whole dish. Shame we can't get it again...

The sweet and sour combination was quite intriguing, personally thought the texture of the bread was a little too dry and not soft enough, however the ricotta helped it become softer and added an extra something.

We were truly and unbelievably full. Maybe we should have just stuck with two..but we were hungry and greedy and thought we could finish anything and everything...or maybe we're just always hungry =b

Yes the OPI on the table. Random =)

Crows Nest 2

The day was too hot to do anything, so after some quick photos we headed back indoors for some refreshing drinks since walking around outside made us pretty thirsty. It didn't make sense at all, but the first cafe we walked in to said they were closed when we asked if it was okay to just buy drinks.. It was 1pm and there were plenty of staff and even a customer sitting outside... But it's okay, we found a better cafe with friendly staff, who were happy enough for us to just buy Coke and sit there for a while just talking~ They had a lot more customers too..no surprises there =b
