It's always fun to have a look back on the year that's passed, so we've each put together our top 10 outfits of 2012! Although in no particular order, it's still pretty easy to see my love for colour shines through... and another thing, I wear A LOT of skirts. I have a growing love for hats too, but it's a shame it wasn't really showcased this year. I'll definitely be working on it for 2013!

shirt made by self
scanlan & theodore dye tank
lee denim shorts
The shirt was for an assessment for a certain popular culture influence, mine was boy george/80s club culture/space pirate/futurist. It was nice being able to wear it afterwards too =) . Hope you all have a dandy week ! xoxo

arabella ramsay leather skirt
mulberry bayswater bag
tony bianco boots
Sometimes, just sticking to a neutral colour palette works best, and doesn't really require a whole lot of effort either. I had to make at least one thing pop though, so coloured my nails lime green, which previously made me feel like I had frog hands, but somehow worked with this look. These boots got a crazy workout this past Winter, and for good reason. Low heel, versatile colour, super comfy - what more could I ask for.

Duck spring rolls
I wasn't feeling very hungry this day, so just got an entree of duck spring rolls, which turned out to not be a very good choice. But Alvina loved it, and I know it's mostly just me. I don't seem to like the spring rolls which have a strong vegetable taste, so this just wasn't my type of dish. The sauce was delicious though.
Chicken pad see ew
I guess you pretty much CANNOT go wrong with this dish. The juicy fat noodles roll in your mouth with tender chicken pieces and zesty crunchy veggies! This is definitely a fail safe dish and is delicious!

alice in the eve beaded collar top
Who doesn't like yellow, seriously. It's an instant mood lifter, and it goes with a whole rainbow of colours too. I feel like this sweater didn't get worn as much as it should have this past Winter, but I know i'll never get sick of this gorgeous colour, so expect to see it a lot more once Autumn comes around! The weather was quite lovely this day, albeit a little windy, but the sun was out and the park was so pleasant all round. I'm always a fan of having greenery in the photos, it's like no effort required. Just let your surroundings do the talking.

It feels like we haven't done a food related post in a while! Anyway Hanabi has been featured before, but we frequent it way too much to not have a second mention. The pumpkin/meat dish is like comfort food for us, it's always hearty and never fails to satisfy our hunger. Super delicious and just a great meal in general!
This is my ultimate favourite dish in the Korean restaurants in the whole of Sydney! The soft tender boiled meat softly disassembles in the mouth whilst highly complimented by lavish pumpkin. Mmm my mouth waters once more just thinking about it. Although Anna & I demolished this thing (serving size 3-4 people) and we literally could not walk for the fear of popping stomachs! The great thing about every Korean restaurant is their generous free side dishes =D Although this one compared to others were a little stingy, I guess we couldn't complain because it was still free.

ikebana inspired top made by me
69 zip jeans
agent 99 grey tee
ausko black beret
staccato calf leather boots
I was fascinated by the principles of ikebana, one of them especially being that in the form of ikebana (japanese flower arrangement), the arrangement is found rather than planned. Which was exactly like this top, where i started off with two rectangle pieces and improvised to the finish. Chose some shapes to give the top some irregular balance and harmony. Hope you all have a fun filled week =) xoxo

levi denim jacket
adriano goldschmied jeans
jimmy choo flats
It is absolutely amazing how these jeans feel. They're like velvety smooth, with the perfect amount of stretch, so they definitely tick all the boxes on the comfort list. I loooove the colour as well, so it's quite a task not to rave on about them, as they really are the perfect jean. This pair is actually my introduction to the brand, and so far all the others I have seen have been similar quality, so I am very pleased with AG jeans. I might get myself another pair, perhaps in lemon yellow...but I might have to wait for them to go on sale, as they're a little too pricey for me at the moment.
I don't know, maybe i'm making it really obvious now as to what time we meet, because the sunnies make an appearance once again. And yes, it was about 9 in the morning so I had definitely rushed out of the house, and I wanted no extra hassle!
