IKEBANA

alvina wears

ikebana inspired top made by me
mimius jacket
69 zip jeans
agent 99 grey tee
ausko black beret
staccato calf leather boots

I was fascinated by the principles of ikebana, one of them especially being that in the form of ikebana (japanese flower arrangement), the arrangement is found rather than planned. Which was exactly like this top, where i started off with two rectangle pieces and improvised to the finish. Chose some shapes to give the top some irregular balance and harmony. Hope you all have a fun filled week =) xoxo

Ahh that is so interesting! It's much more exciting to think of *finding* the perfect arrangement. Love the top, and you wear it well, Alvina :)

Alvina's hairstyle is super cute and perfection with that hat. Is the brand itself Ausko?

that's an interesting top, at first i couldn't figure out if it was like an overall type thing or just strappy pieces on the top! I love the cardigan with the elbow patch as well :)
