Writing on a blank page...

MNG dress
Witchery cardigan
Bardot belt
Siren heels
Oroton bag

Decjuba jacket
J Crew denim jacket (shortened by me)
TEMT gray cardigan
Red Berry high waist skirt
Aldo heels

I love photos like this, which capture all the details so perfectly. The credit has to go to the camera we used on this day (belonging to a friend of ours), and maybe also his photography skills haha, but really.. so perfect!

An airplane inspired me for this look, its sharp features and of course the wings with its delicate almost baby like colours. I always like the soothing announcement, “Ladies and Gentlemen fasten your seat belts and get ready for take off”

Can you feel the cold tonight?

Nearing winter, we had been getting the characteristic cold mornings and nights, but for the last couple of days, there has been sunshine and warm days. Not sure if this is true, but there's this thing called 'Indian Summer', where in the last few weeks of autumn leading up to winter, people get to experience warmth and beautiful weather, and then afterwards the real winter kicks in. Whether it's true or not, it's still nice to have a little change before we have to settle in for thick coats, boots, gloves, scarves, etc. (even if we do love these!)

MIMIUS jacket
Paper Scissors shirt
Vinnies brooch
Temt shorts
Black leather belt from Korea
Diaz white boots

No name shirt
Esprit jacket
Wrangler jeans
7 for all Mankind boots

I was going for a kinda retro look with the tan jacket and the funky pattern shirt.

A rather simple outfit (as most of mine are), but it’s good for cold days where I can be comfortable and warm. Except once it’s actually winter, i’ll be wearing a lot more layers! I’m one of those people who feel the cold quite easily, so when some can get away with a thick cardigan, I need a thick jacket or coat.

Yes i like to pout a lot, it’s become a habit my lips just protrude i reckon its because i use to have braces.

Graffiti

Headband from a random piece of material
TEMT top
Navy tunic from Korea
De Lourve heels
Bracelets from Forever New
Umbrella and opaque white stockings from a random stall

T by Alexander Wang sweater
Bardot dress
Witchery scarf
Siren heels
Peeptoe ring

I look unbelievably stiff, but it was mostly because the wind was blowing so much and I didn't want a blurry photo so had to stand really really still!

Alice in Wonderland inspired, LOVED Alice in Wonderland as a child and still remains in my heart till this very day =)

Prints

Hi guys, apologies for the little drought of posts! We've been a little caught up with things and haven't had the time to meet up :( Hopefully this will change soon, since one of the good things about having this blog, was that we got to meet up a lot more after we started it.. and we have so much fun blogging so we're not likely to stop in the near future! :)

Anyway on to the outfits.

Two VERY different styles.

 Thrifted polka dot dress
Sportsgirl red beanie
Roberto del Carlo suede ankle boots

 Romance was Born dress
Siren platforms

I know this picture is a bit blurry, but it was getting dark, and without much light, it was kind of difficult to keep the photos clear. Anyway I just wanted to add, I love these boots! Like really, I love them (maybe a bit too much).

This is probably the longest dress I own, and I’m quite liking the length so I might try on longer skirts/dresses from now on!

For flamboyance there must be courage . Romance was born has the nicest prints and will definitely keep this dress for future events.

Dots all around

Insight cardigan
Urban shop top
Pleated skirt from Korea
Dangerfield dice necklace
Forever new bangles
Sportsgirl headband
Aldo heels

Dress from Korea
Oroton bag
Mollini heels
Forever New tights
Witchery, Portmans bracelets

I prefer pointy heels over round heels, great to kick anyone seedy muhaha!

To keep things simple, I didn't add many accessories. I felt the tights and belt were enough, and the bracelets were just so it wouldn't be too boring!

I was thinking of a sponge cake when i put this outfit on, hope you can imagine it too the sugary icing, layers of sugar and those edible silver baubles =)

When I first bought these tights I didn't wear them much, but I think this combination works quite nicely. Wearing ankle boots would also work so I might have to try that out sometime.

New Age Cowgirls

Greetings~ It's that time of the year again, the gory assessments that has kept us too busy to update and eat out, so we have just taken some outfit shots. Stay tuned though for after its over there will be some goodies displayed!!!

Vintage shirt
Temt vest
Forever New shorts
Sportsgirl belt
Marc Jacobs bag
Mimco wristlet
Gorman heels

Muse lace top
Temt singlet
Kasui wedges
Sportsgirl headband
Forever New bangles
Apricot Alley skirt

I don't own a lot of green clothes (from what I can remember), so it's pretty hard to have a matching green outfit like this. Even though they're such different shades, I think an outfit with matching colours always looks good.

My rendition of an urban cowgirl, was in love with the fringes on the laced top, it made me treat my clothes better because it was quite delicate if i gain weight the top can rip lol~

I seem to have hot pink nail polish on my toes quite often when I wear these shoes, which is a good thing, as I love the combination! Speaking of nail polish, I really need to re-do my nails more often, because I still have a few that I haven't tried out.

Our Challenge

It's safe to say the "challenge" we set ourselves at the beginning of the year, has turned out to be quite an easy one. We're both really lacking the funds to purchase anything at the moment so with Anna on 4 and Alvina on 5, seems like we're pretty good for the rest of the year. Who knows though, we might suddenly go on a massive shopping spree and end up reaching 25 items in a months time. But for now, just felt like updating on our progress.
